Québec: Val-d’Or SPCA ceases euthanasias by carbon monoxide inhalation

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Val-d'Or (Québec) has decided to stop killing dogs and cats by inhalation of carbon monoxide.This type of euthanasia is still legal in the Québec province, but is is getting controversial. Many people denounce the suffering that can result from this technique. (french)
